In understanding an individual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s behavior, this specific type of therapy takes into consideration the ego state of the individual \u00e2\u20ac\u201c whether they are parent-like\/exteropsyche, adult-like\/neopsyche or child-like\/archaeopsyche (also known as the P-A-C Model). Individuals are then encouraged to change their ego state in order to deal with their respective psychological issues.<\/p>\n<p>In Transactional Analysis, the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153transaction\u00e2\u20ac\u009d describes the fundamental unit of social intercourse, while \u00e2\u20ac\u0153transactional analysis\u00e2\u20ac\u009d being the study of social interactions between individuals.<\/p>\n<p>In development of Transactional Analysis,\u00c2\u00a0Berne evaluated the complexities of human communication.
