Unlike some other forms of therapy,\u00c2\u00a0Psychodynamic psychotherapy relies on the\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;interpersonal relationship between client and therapist.&#8221; as with other forms of therapy, Psychodynamic therapy incorporates a focus on the unconscious mind however unlike other therapies based on &#8220;depth psychology&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 Psychodynamic Therapy uses different technical procedures.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This specific type of therapy emphasizes the importance of having insight and understanding the unconscious above all. This can be done by making known the individual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s inner self, repressed emotions and thoughts to the individual himself\/herself. It also aims to explain how the unconscious affects an individual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s behavior, thoughts and emotions.
