Though scientifically discredited by most, it is still a highly effective mechanism of improving perception, communication and self-management skills of an individual. Tony Robbins a self help and motivational coach (as well as author and businessman) popularized NLP to those who would ordinarily not consider psychological treatment, self help or otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>NLP believes that an individual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s expression of emotion and behavior are results of internal processes which is greatly affected by the individual\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s environment. NLP is also considered as the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153operating manual\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of an individual which aids in identifying the previous steps individuals have taken, actions they have done and experiences they have been through which lead them to where they are today, and whether or not they are good or bad influences to an individual.
